About Me

My photo
Dusty Cowboy
I was born in Kensett, a small town in the state of Arkansas. I graduated from White County Training School. The guys always teased me about this… saying was I a graduate of a reformatory school. Not true. After high school I attended AM&N College, now UAPB in Pine Bluff, AR. finishing with a degree in Music Education. I’ve taught in the public school systems in the states of Michigan and Arkansas. In addition to my career in education, I’ve been a salesman of various goods and services. I’ve sold life insurance, copy machines and wine (bottled label, not bootleg). I have been self -employed in the home repair business and I’ve also worked in the entertainment industry. I was manager of a group called the Dusty Cowboys. Our lead singer was Sam Colley. The Dusty Cowboys performed in different clubs in the Detroit area. I was also the first sales manager of radio station WWWS now WTLZ in Saginaw, MI.
